The CPA Order donates a total of $9,182 to Centraide and the Red Cross

Montreal, February 27, 2014 – Thanks to its annual workplace fundraising campaign, the Ordre des CPA du Québec is pleased to present a cheque for $6,945 to Centraide of Greater Montreal, and another for $2,237 to the Canadian Red Cross. These donations were collected from Order employees during 2013.

“Various activities organized during the year called on the generosity of our employees and enabled us to raise this amount, said Daniel McMahon, FCPA, FCA, president and chief executive officer of the Order. This sharing and involvement to benefit universal causes represents the very essence of the commitment that characterizes the Order’s team so well, and the CPA profession as a whole.”

The Order will diligently pursue its workplace fundraising campaign in 2014 so that Centraide and the Red Cross can continue to count on the support of Order staff.
