Foundation Chair, Michel Verreault, FCPA, FCMA, reminded participants that “each day, the Foundation fulfills its mission to support the next generation thanks to generous donations from CPAs, businesses and firms.” Mr. Verreault also expressed sincere thanks to the event’s honorary chair who was instrumental in the overwhelming success of this activity.

Mr. Carrière noted that being associated with the Foundation as honorary chair came naturally to him. “As chartered professional accountants, we must contribute to the development of promising hopefuls from here and provide them with the opportunity to obtain a professional designation that paves the way for a thriving career. That’s why I accepted this role without hesitation, and I’m proud of how much we were able to raise, thanks to the generosity of many colleagues, partners and members of the foursomes of honour.”

“At each Foundation event, I’m always struck by the support demonstrated by CPAs and those who will form the next generation of Quebec chartered professional accountants. The future of the accounting profession is in good hands, and aspiring CPAs can count on us to help them reach great heights,” said Daniel McMahon, FCPA, FCA, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Order.

The Foundation would like to thank its Prestige, Elite, Distinction and Associate partners, whose generosity contributed to the tournament’s resounding success.
