The Order accredits three Quebec university graduate programs

In May 2014, UQAM’s École des sciences de la gestion (ESG UQAM), McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management and HEC Montréal will welcome their first graduate students in the CPA path following the recent accreditation of their program by the Order. Eight other universities are in the process of obtaining their accreditation with the intention of offering their graduate program as of September 2014.
A total of 11 Quebec universities will therefore be offering future accountants the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) as part of a graduate program.
The graduate programs will be open to holders of a recognized undergraduate degree and are one of the two paths leading to the CPA designation, the second being the National CPA Program delivered by the Order and generally offered on a part-time basis through distance learning.
