Close to 200 students from 14 Quebec universities met in Montreal on March 8, 9 and 10, 2013 at the first-ever CPA Student Congress. Organized by McGill University students in collaboration with the Order, and presented by DECIMAL and CN, the Congress offered participants a wide variety of educational conferences and activities related to accounting.

Congratulations to the CPA student committees who earned distinction:

  • CPA student committee of the year: HEC Montréal and ESG UQAM (tied)
  • Activity of the year: ESG UQAM CPA student committee for "L'œil du CPA"
  • Student of the year: François Lapointe, HEC Montréal's CPA student committee

Count… and win an iPad mini contest

On March 1, 2013, the Order also launched a new contest for future CPAs. Invite the young people you know to enter before April 1, 2013 on the Devenir CPA Facebook page: they could win an iPad mini. What a great way to end the session!
