Dear Colleague,
Following the clarifications we received from the government concerning the maintenance of essential services only, we can confirm that accounting services are included in “essential services.”
|
|
|
|
|
|
Moreover, the government has clearly advised us that “accounting services” must be interpreted in a broad manner; accordingly, all services provided by CPAs are included in the definition.
Please keep in mind that businesses may engage in telework and online commerce at all times. Be sure to prioritize these resources in this time of crisis to minimize person-to-person interaction and protect your health as well as that of your employees and clients. Naturally, you must comply fully with all health standards and instructions issued by the government.
Thank you for your essential contribution to community efforts to curb the health crisis. Please be assured of the Order’s support in this challenging period for all.
