With the National Assembly’s clause-by-clause study of Bill 53, the Credit Assessment Agents Act, under way, the Order is calling for measures such as recognizing the right to a credit security freeze and ensuring the exercise of this right is free of charge. To guarantee the full exercise of citizens’ newly recognized rights, we are also calling for:
- the right to be informed and the right to have errors corrected;
- real access, in French;
- more stringent supervision of credit agents.
