Disclosure of nominee agreements: the deadline is fast approaching!

On September 24, the Quebec government assented Bill 42, putting in place the mandatory disclosure measures pertaining to the general anti-avoidance rule announced on May 17, 2019. The 90-day limit for filing form TP-1079.PN and complying with the requirement to disclose nominee agreements subject to these measures therefore begins.

As of October 10, 2020, new drivers who transport passengers for remuneration for a transportation system operator under agreement, such as Uber and Eva, can use a new simplified service to register for the GST/HST and QST.
