Telework is mandatory for ALL

With Quebec entering a new lockdown phase tomorrow, it seems important to remind everyone that telework is mandatory for all, including members working at small and large accounting firms. Unless it is absolutely impossible to do so, all accounting firm employees must telework, whether they are CPAs or not, under penalty of heavy fines. Despite this, the Order was informed by the government that a number of firms are continuing to operate within their offices. We wish to remind you that this is a critical health situation and that it is our collective responsibility to comply with public health regulations.
The Order will continue to monitor the situation as it develops and keep you informed of any new orders affecting accounting firm operations.
