Capital market transactions: Reporting and new statements

All sales of shares, mutual fund units or other securities in financial markets must be reported in income tax returns. Since the 2021 taxation year, financial institutions and securities dealers are required to send one of the following statements: 
  • A new consolidated T5008/RL-18 slip for all transactions
  • A single RL-18 slip for each transaction
