During the 2018-2019 fiscal year, the Foundation of Quebec CPAs awarded 141 scholarships. Congratulations to all recipients!

Ph.D. scholarships — $20,000 scholarships

This program is intended for CPAs who are members in good standing of the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (the Order) and are enrolled in a Ph.D. program or plan to enrol in one in the next year.

Each year, the Foundation of Quebec CPAs presents awards of excellence to CPA candidates who have distinguished themselves in writing the examination leading to the CPA permit, ranked the Canadian Honour Roll.

Assistance towards success scholarships — $1, 500 to $5,000 scholarships

Every year, the CPA Foundation awards $100,000 in scholarships to financially support students who:

Assistance TOWARDS success scholarships (old program)

This scholarship program is intended for students who are on the path to registering for the Professional Education Program (PEP) delivered at universities accredited by the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés du Québec (the Order) or the national program delivered by the Order. To be eligible, applicants must demonstrate that they need financial aid to help them cover all costs involved in continuing their education with the Professional Education Program (CPA).

For this component, the Foundation decided to give to projects run by registered non-profit organizations that work to keep Quebec students in school.

That is why the Foundation signed a partnership agreement with Éducaide, an educational assistance fund for young people from underprivileged backgrounds.
