Share your financial knowledge

Littératie financière

As a CPA, you have the expertise, knowledge and credibility to help Quebecers of all ages and financial circumstances make informed and responsible financial decisions — in other words, to help them take control of their personal finances.

CPA Financial Literacy Program

Thanks to your volunteer efforts, the CPA Financial Literacy Program provides clear and objective financial information to the general public. Through this program, the CPA profession offers free sessions across Quebec, covering a range of topics tailored to the specific needs of different audiences.

Each year, hundreds of CPAs pass on their know-how to the public at large, thereby contributing to the collective well-being. Join them in sharing your knowledge and expertise with your fellow citizens.

Here’s what they have to say about their experience.

The Financial Literacy Program gives me the opportunity to use my knowledge and experience in helping the general public.

In addition to promoting the CPA profession, I feel that I am giving people tools to help them better understand the impact of their financial decisions and improve their quality of life. It’s a very rewarding experience.

Presenting workshops over the last few years has allowed me to meet some amazing people — including entrepreneurs, but also retirees and workers. I consider myself very lucky to be a CPA professional working in industry, so volunteering as part of the Financial Literacy Program allows me to give back to the community.

Given all the positive feedback I receive after each workshop, I will continue to promote financial literacy and the CPA designation for a long time to come!

I decided to sign up as a volunteer in the CPA Financial Literacy Program to help participants to think about and understand their personal finances and to use management tools to improve their standard of living and optimize their wealth.

The program has allowed me to hone my public speaking skills so I can better engage people’s curiosity about personal financial matters.
