CRA: Gifting tax shelter schemes

Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) reiterates its warning about gifting tax shelter schemes. For the 2014 tax year, CRA will assess returns on which a donation tax credit is claimed under a gifting tax shelter arrangement only after the tax shelter has been audited. This procedure was also in place for the 2012 and 2013 tax years. Full details on the CRA website
