Partnership agreements

Over the last few years, the Order has entered into agreements with various organizations and several training activities providers in order to expand its course offerings. Even though Order partners allow you to use Corporate passports and the CPA promo, they oversee all the administrative aspects and logistics of their training activities.

How the agreement works

Copyrights

Our partners hold the copyrights to their courses. As with Order courses, copyright law applies in its entirety. It is strictly prohibited to reproduce or distribute, in whole or in part, the course material, or to share access to an e-learning activity. A partner may refuse any person suspected of violating this law from registering.

Registration for activities offered in partnership

Participants are required to register or cancel their registration on the Order’s website. Participants must not change their registration through partners under any circumstances, as the changes will not appear in their training file and their passport may not be accepted.

Transfer of registrations to our partners

The Order prepares and sends registration and cancellation reports to its training activities partners every 24 hours. Our partners usually process transactions within hours of receiving the report or the next day. Therefore, it can take 48 to 72 hours for your registration to be processed.

Session availability

Members can register for partner's training activities using Corporate passports and the CPA promo, thereby paying less than the partners’ regular à la carte registration price. To avoid a significant negative financial impact on partners, the number of places assigned to the Order is limited. However, feel free to register on a waiting list, since most partners follow up with the Order in the days leading up to a training activity when places are still available.

Partner communications

Our partners are responsible for the logistics of their training activities. They will therefore contact you to confirm your registration, inform you of any changes to a session for which you are registered (change in location or date), or advise you of any cancellation. We encourage you to pay close attention to emails you receive from them.

Partner terms and conditions and activity logistics

Policy

The Order’s terms and conditions apply to registrations1 and cancellations.2 However, our partners have their own policies regarding access to their activities and the related logistics. Accordingly, they can deny access to a training activity to a participant who arrives late or misses the first day of an activity lasting two or more days. Please contact the training activity partner directly if you have any questions about its policy.

Participants who register more than seven days prior to the session date receive the special price in effect. For more information, see the terms and conditions for training activities.

Training locations and meals

Our partner's training locations are different from the Order’s. In addition, most partners do not serve a lunch during one-day activities. Refer to the registration confirmation from the partner if you have any questions.

Training times

The start and end times, as well as duration of training activities offered by partners are different from the Order’s. Refer to the registration confirmation from the partner if you have any questions.

Access to e-learning activities

The duration of access to e-learning activities (online or webcasts) differs between partners. Refer to the registration confirmation from the partner if you have any questions. Note that due to registration processing times, the registration deadline for these activities is at least five business days before the end of the training season.

Fee schedule

Using Corporate passports and the CPA promo

The partners’ fee schedules are different from the Order’s. Therefore, the number of PDCs required to register for a partner's training activity may not be the same as that required for an Order training activity. Refer to the fee schedule of the course that interests you.

À la carte registration

Participants can register for a partner's training activity without using a Corporate passport or the CPA promo. Note that our partners’ prices are different from the Order’s. Refer to the fee schedule of the course that interests you.
