Patricia Saputo, FCPA, FCA

Chief Financial Officer
Placements Italcan
2016 recipient of the title of FCPA

Soon after joining Deloitte, Patricia Saputo became one of the firm’s top tax experts responsible for meeting the needs of major institutional and individual clients. Yet, her calling was elsewhere and in 1998 she launched the creation of the “Family Office” for Placements Italcan, an investment holding company that manages her immediate family’s assets. She has achieved remarkable results since then, managing approximately $3 billion in assets and raising some $130 million for not-for-profit organizations.

Refusing to rest on her laurels, Ms. Saputo set out to share her vision by launching the Concordia Family Wealth Program in the fall of 2015, in partnership with the John Molson School of Business. Through her extensive network, she attracts instructors who are highly skilled in imparting their knowledge of governance, succession planning and family wealth transfers.

A woman of boundless energy who is firmly rooted in the community, she helped organize various fundraisers and mentors students and businesswomen. She serves on several boards, including that of the Concordia University Foundation, and was recently appointed Chair of Concordia University’s Pension Plan Committee, in recognition of her exceptional service. Dynamic and professional, Patricia Saputo embodies values that are highly esteemed in both the accounting profession and society.
