Les Géants de la profession honoured in a lavish atmosphere!

On Saturday, Alain Dugal, FCPA, FCA, Chair of the Order, and Geneviève Mottard, CPA, CA, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Order, presided over this year’s Soirée des fellows during which a number of members received the profession’s highest honours.

At the event hosted by Charles Lafortune, the Order presented the Outstanding Achievement Award to Robert Després, FCPA, FCGA, in recognition of his exceptional career, and paid tribute to 22 new Fellows. The title of Companion of the Order was also presented that evening to Jacques Lefebvre, ASC.

	Bill 92: Make stakeholders involved in the drug supply chain accountable rather than infringe on professional secrecy

	During the consultations now underway on the bill to extend the powers of the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec (RAMQ), the Order has proposed solutions adapted to the RAMQ’s objectives to prevent fraud and abuse in the drug supply chain.
