Fee schedule and forms

Throughout their path to the CPA designation, candidates for the practice of the profession are required to pay certain fees to the Order. A portion of these fees may be reimbursed by some employers. Candidates are responsible for making arrangements with their employer.

The following fee schedule is in effect until March 31, 2017*.

Note that candidates have a maximum of seven (7) years to complete their CPA path, which includes:

  • completing the Professional Education Program (PEP);
  • completing a 24-month period of practical experience authorized by the Order;
  • passing the Common Final Examination (CFE); 
  • applying for a permit.

Annual dues

Annual dues for CPPs $408.16

The annual dues for CPPs are valid from April 1 through March 31 and are payable every year until they obtain the CPA designation. After that, they will have to pay the regular annual dues for members every year. Please take note that the payment of the annual fee is not refundable.

1 The candidates are considered senior if:

  • They did not submit the application for permit within six months after having completed all the steps of the path; OR

The CFE registration fee must be paid each time a candidate sits for the examination.

The amount billed is fully refundable if the CFE registration is cancelled at least 10 days before the examination.p

Important: If the CFE registration is cancelled 10 days or less before the examination, 15% of the registration fee will be billed to cover administrative costs.

Cancellation and refund

Professional Education Program

Do you want to cancel your registration in the CPA Professional Education Program (university graduate program or national program) or get a refund of some of the fees you paid? See the cancellation and refund policy.

Common Final Examination (CFE)

The amount billed is fully refundable if the CFE registration is cancelled at least 10 days before the examination. However, 15% of the registration fee will be billed to cover administrative costs for cancellations made 10 days or less before the examination.
