The CPA Order advocates for the protection of professional secrecy
Today, the Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés (the Order) made a strong plea before the members of the Committee on Health and Social Services in favour of protecting professional secrecy—a safeguard that is intended to protect patients not professionals. The CPA Order presented its case during the special consultations on Bill 92, An Act to extend the powers of the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec and to amend various legislative provisions.
