August 31, 2015 not only marks the end of the current reference year, but also the end of the 3-year period that began on September 1, 2012. This means you only have 4 months left to complete the minimum number of continuing education hours required under the regulation for the current year AND for the reference period coming to a close.

In recent days, members of 3 electoral regions — Capitale-Nationale/Chaudière-Appalaches, Montreal and Laval – Laurentians — received a notice of election to the board of the Order. This means that they will be asked to elect 4 new members to the board of the Order in May 2015, including 2 in the Montreal electoral region.

The board of the Order has formalized the selection of the 12 CPAs whose exceptional achievements in their area of activity have earned them the prestigious title of Fellow. The nomination files they submitted highlighted the inductees’. These 12 ambassadors of the profession will officially receive their title during the Soirée des Fellows, to be held on May 9.
