Comments submitted to the Committee on Public Finance as part of the special consultations on Bill 87 – An Act to facilitate the disclosure of wrongdoings within public bodies

The Quebec CPA Order submitted its comments on Bill 87 – An Act to facilitate the disclosure of wrongdoings within public bodies – to the Committee on Public Finance. While applauding the government’s commitment to establish a whistleblower protection program, the Order hopes it will adopt a comprehensive approach on this issue (in French only).

Brief submitted to the Committee on Institutions as part of the special consultations and public hearings on Bill 51, An Act mainly to make the administration of justice more efficient and fines for minors more deterrent

The proposals in the bill are intended to address concerns expressed by the Order in its brief submitted as part of the special consultations on Bill 17 in the spring of 2013. However, we believe that Bill 51 is incomplete, in that the proposed provisions raise numerous questions about the hybrid structure they would create. (in French only)

Brief submitted to the Committee on Public Finance as part of the report of the Quebec Taxation Review Committee
