Stéphanie Vallée joins the team at the CPA Order

Montreal, September 11, 2019 – Geneviève Mottard, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Quebec CPA Order, is proud to announce the appointment of Me Stéphanie Vallée as Strategic Advisor, Legislation and Regulations.
In this role, Me Vallée will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall legislative and regulatory strategy of the CPA profession. She will manage relationships with stakeholders of the professional system, regulatory authorities and various partners.
Me Vallée, who is a lawyer by training, served for over 10 years as MNA for the Gatineau riding, and acted as Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Quebec, will be entrusted with promising initiatives for the future of the accounting profession. Her in-depth knowledge of the parliamentary environment, her training and her expertise make her an ideal candidate to carry out the legislative initiatives of the Order, whose mission is to protect the public, assist its members and enhance the image of the profession.
