2018 Quebec election: The CPA Order applauds the first chartered professional accountant to head the Quebec government

Montreal, October 2, 2018 – The Quebec CPA Order applauds the first chartered professional accountant to head the Quebec government and extends its warmest congratulations to newly elected Premier, François Legault, FCPA, FCA.
“The CPA Order is very proud to see one of its members ascend to Quebec’s highest office for the first time,” said Geneviève Mottard, CPA, CA, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Order. “We are confident Mr. Legault will uphold the values that characterize the accounting profession — which are integrity, excellence, commitment, innovation and respect — for the benefit of all Quebecers.”
