New version of the restatement guide for CMHC-subsidized organizations
The Affordable Housing Centre of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) – Quebec region has made a minor change to the capital assets (“Immobilisations corporelles”) section of the restatement guide (Guide de redressement des états financiers). The Foundation’s 2015 golf tournament: another successful year!
The Foundation of Quebec CPAs held its annual golf tournament on September 14 at Saint-Raphaël Golf Club on Île-Bizard. Under the honorary chairmanship of Guy Blanchette, FCPA, FCA, Executive Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer at Lassonde Industries, the many participants once again showed their commitment to the next generation of accounting professionals by helping to raise nearly $87,500.

The proposals in the bill are intended to address concerns expressed by the Order in its brief submitted as part of the special consultations on Bill 17 in the spring of 2013. However, we believe that Bill 51 is incomplete, in that the proposed provisions raise numerous questions about the hybrid structure they would create. (in French only)
