More than 150 students from 14 Quebec universities participated in the third CPA Student Congress which was held at Hôtel Sacacomie in Saint-Alexis-des-Mont in the Laurentians.

Featuring accounting-related educational conferences and activities, the annual congress provides a unique opportunity for participating students to share and exchange their knowledge with fellow students from across Quebec. During the congress, awards were given out to the CPA student committees that distinguished themselves during the year.

“It’s important that we provide future members of our profession with an opportunity to connect with their peers and enhance their education through various activities,” said Daniel McMahon, FCPA, FCA, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Order. “The Order is proud to support students throughout their path to the CPA designation, as they will shape the accounting profession of tomorrow.
