Federal government introduces Small Business Job Credit

This two-year measure will help small businesses by lowering their Employment Insurance (EI) premiums from the legislated rate of $1.88 per $100 of insurable earnings to $1.60 in 2015 and 2016. All employers who pay EI premiums of $15,000 or less during these two years will be eligible for the credit. For more details, visit the Canada Revenue Agency website
