Each program includes all the prerequisite courses for admission to the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP). An average of 2.8/4.3 (B-) or higher is generally required for the recognized program and the prerequisite courses to be admitted to the PEP.

If you have earned more than 99 credits in your program, the Order’s admissions team will calculate a new cumulative grade point average for the courses that will count toward your PEP registration.

Pass all courses on the list
At certain universities, the program required for admission to the PEP is part of a larger program that includes the core curriculum of required courses in addition to many electives. Make sure that the courses you choose are on the list of prerequisite courses for your chosen university (below) and that you have passed all of the courses on that list before you finish the program. Otherwise, you will need to pass them before beginning the PEP.

Did you obtain the recognized bachelor’s degree five or more years ago and/or did not achieve the required academic average?
In accordance with our administrative procedures, refresher courses may be required, given the constant evolution of the required knowledge. Consult the “Recognized bachelor's degree update” profile on our website for training equivalence.
