Updated each year, the Guide des mesures fiscales issued by the Office des personnes handicapées du Québec includes all the provincial and federal tax measures available to disabled persons and their loved ones. A must-have reference tool for CPAs.

On January 1, 2013, The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA) and The Society of Management Accountants of Canada (CMA Canada) announced the creation of CPA Canada. A 16-member Board of Directors for the new organization has been established.

Under the CPA Act, CPA, CAs who have provided assurance services in the five years preceding the date on which the Act came into force or who have met the requirements of the Regulation respecting mandatory continuing education for CAs who practice public accountancy are automatically entitled to obtain the public accountancy permit.

On November 16, 2012, the prestigious Ambassadors Gala was held at the Sheraton Centre in Montreal. The Order rolled out the blue carpet for the occasion in honour of the 95 new members from the CPA, CMA and CPA, CMA-MBA executive programs, as well as eight new FCPAs and the recipients of numerous awards and distinctions.
