Ad campaigns
Since its creation in 2012, the Quebec CPA Order has conducted ad campaigns to raise awareness of the CPA designation, position the accounting profession as a career of choice for young people, and demonstrate the added value of working with a chartered professional accountant in the business world.
These are our most recent campaigns for future CPAs:
CPA, C'PA mal ça qu'on fait | Winter 2026
Life in an accounting firm might just add up for you (2025)
CPA might just add up for you (2025)
CPA, C'PA mal ça qu'on fait | Winter 2026
On January 12, we launched our new campaign targeting the next generation. The campaign’s theme, “CPA, C’PA mal ça qu’on fait,” conveys the action-packed side of the CPA profession. Last year, we highlighted the characteristics and personality traits that are typical of CPAs with the signature “CPA might just add up for you.” This year, we plan to focus on what makes up the DNA of the profession in a changing world. In other words, who we are and what we do.
The campaign is centred around 6 original illustrations by a Montreal-based artist that each have their own catchy phrase. These visuals can be foundon and around campuses, in the public transportation system and on the Internet.

They were rounded out by several other wonderful creative initiatives.
Videos with three influencers
The Order worked with three influencers, the journalist Alexplique, Maxence Garneau and comedian Mibenson, on three videos with “action-packed” content!
Video advertisements
Remember the escape room and introduction videos from the last campaign? They were reworked for the 2026 campaign and converted into 15 and 16-second formats.
“Micro-ondes” podcasts on Radio-Canada and Nico Pham
Radio-Canada launched a brand new concept, the “Micro-ondes” podcasts, which are one-to-two-minute audio clips that provide a quick and effective explanation of a topic. The CPA Order is the first partner to embrace this concept. Hosted by Nico Pham, who shares his vivid insights with a touch of humour, the clips present several different facets of the profession.
Promotional activity at a climbing centre
A climbing centre may be an unusual place to promote the profession, but the CPA designation helps professionals reach the highest summits. Visit Le Mouv’ indoor climbing centre in February to climb the CPA course. Ads starring future CPAs will be filmed there and broadcast on social media later in 2026.
The ads lead to our micromag (Web magazine designed for mobile phones), where viewers will find practical information, videos and quizzes about the profession.

Life in an accounting firm might just add up for you | Fall 2025
On September 29, we launched an advertising campaign to promote the CPA profession in accounting firms to the next generation.
Due to the fact that the labour shortage is still clearly affecting these workplaces, we felt it was important to do everything we can to highlight their advantages. After the first edition in 2023, we are now relaunching this initiative with 27 firms.
Gen Z is attracted to corporate life. Our goal? Promote careers at accounting firms, which offer enriching work environments that foster professional and personal growth.
This campaign draws on the tone and visual design of the most recent campaign aimed at young people to encourage CPA hopefuls to find the CPA firm that matches their ambitions and personality.
The campaign can be seen this fall on campuses, the Internet and social media and will definitely inspire future CPAs to consider this option when thinking about their careers.

The campaign’s microsite gives youth a sneak peak of corporate life at the 27 participating firms.
September to November 2025
- Digital and static displays on and around university campuses
- Digital placements and organic social media posts on LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube and Reddit
- Programmatic banners on various websites, mobile game apps and the Tinder Dating app
CPA Might just add up for you | Winter 2025
Was there a moment where it all “clicked” for CPAs and they realized what they wanted to do with their lives? Are there personality traits that are common to CPAs? These are the questions that guided the process of creating our new advertising campaign for future CPAs, which was executed in collaboration with the creative communications agency Cartier.
This campaign, which targets generation Z, depicts some potentially unexpected situations for this audience in an effort to reach its goal: show them that they already have the perfect profile and the skills they need to become CPAs.

Launched on January 27, the campaign can be viewed in various formats, such as on social media and on-demand video platforms, in mobile games, on YouTube, at movie theatres and gyms, and on campuses.
In addition, a micromag, i.e. a digital magazine specially conceived to be read on cell phones, has been created in collaboration with Urbania.
It provides young viewers with a wealth of useful information, along with quizzes and videos, such as those featuring entrepreneur and host Marina Bastarache, Quebec rapper FouKi and their CPAs.
