The CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) is made up of a series of courses focusing primarily on enhancing CPA candidates’ ability to apply the professional knowledge, values, ethics and attitudes expected of CPAs in a professional context. The PEP places great importance on the integration of competencies, as well as on the acquisition of more in-depth knowledge than that covered in the academic prerequisites.

The general rules for admission to the PEP require a minimum grade point average of 2.8/4.3 or equivalent in the undergraduate program. However, universities may require a higher average or an overall average in the undergraduate program prerequisite courses for admission to a graduate-level PEP.Concordia requires an average of 3.0/4.0.
