Marc Elman’s outstanding performance at the head of PSB Boisjoli deserves to be honoured in a big way. Since 2000, this man of vision has been a powerful driving force for the firm, which has grown exponentially: Its revenue and staff have quadrupled.

But just looking at the numbers does not tell the whole story of Mr. Elman’s achievements. As partner in taxation, he gave a huge boost to the firm’s tax services division, which now has twelve people, including four partners, and has built the firm’s solid reputation for excellence in the Montreal market.

Marc Elman offers his clients sage advice when analyzing their needs and has the rare ability to motivate others to accept change. PSB Boisjoli has him to thank not only for the creation of Solertia Consulting, its human resources consulting division, but also the department dedicated to the highly specialized Scientific Research and Experimental Development Tax Credit Program.

This consummate professional also excels in charity. A member of the B’nai Brith Camp’s board of directors since 2008, he led the NGO’s most successful fundraising campaign ever in 2010, raising no less than $700,000. Not content with this result, he then headed the camp’s restructuring, which enabled it to balance its budget after years of being in the red. It comes as no surprise that he has since been appointed by the board to be the Camp’s next president. He is considered one of the most inspiring examples in the profession for his work in the community.
